A chance to sleep in today before our coach collects you from your accommodation
and transfers you to the "award winning" Skyrail to begin your Kuranda rainforest
experience. As you climb the MacAlister Range, you will be intrigued by the insights
into the rainforest canopy and the views over the Coral Sea.
Alight Skyrail at Red Peak Station for an amazing board walk amongst the forest
floor and then on to Barron Falls Station for the Rainforest Interpretive Centre.
Upon arrival in Kuranda, the remainder of the day is yours to explore this village
in the rainforest. Amble through the Kuranda Heritage and craft markets and visit
the many attractions the village has to offer.
  
At your scheduled return time board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail for a return
trip to Cairns in Victorian comfort. Relax and enjoy this 23km scenic experience
before arriving at Freshwater Railway station where your coach is waiting to transfer
you to your accommodation.
