We start the day with a luxury coach transfer from your accommodation to the historic
Freshwater Railway station to board the Kuranda Scenic Rail. Once aboard the train,
relax and enjoy the spectacular views as you journey from the cane fields of Cairns
through the World Heritage Rainforest to Kuranda.
On arrival at Kuranda, there is free time to explore the 'Village in the Rainforest'
and its markets (Heritage Markets operate daily). Your tour also includes entry
to Kuranda Koala Gardens for a great wildlife experience - see wombats, koalas,
kangaroos, fresh water crocodiles and Australia's first 'walk through Snake Enclosure'.
There's even an opportunity for a souvenir picture of you cuddling a koala (at own
expense).
  
At the scheduled time, board Skyrail for the most beautiful rainforest experience
as you glide over the rainforest canopy, arriving at Caravonica Lakes where your
coach is waiting to return you to your accommodation at 4.40pm.
