DAY 1: Quicksilver Outer Barrier Reef

Quicksilver's sleek and superior wavepiercing catamarans, cruising at high speed, provide the most comfortable ride possible in all weather conditions. On the way to the outer barrier reef, relax in the luxury of the spacious air-conditioned cabin areas, with licensed bar, or sit outside and enjoy the cool sea breezes.

  • Return Wavepiercer cruise from Port Douglas Marina

  • Informative reef presentation by a Marine Biologist
  • Hot and cold tropical smorgasbord lunch
  • All snorkeling equipment provided and qualified snorkeling safety officer on hand

  • There is a multitude of optional tours to experience once at 'the reef' including Snorkelling expedition with Marine Biologist, Scuba diving, either Certified Diving or Introductory Dive (no experience required), Scenic Helicopter flight

DAY 2: Kuranda, Skyrail And Scenic Railway Tour - Kuranda In The Morning And Train In The Afternoon.

Your day includes morning tea before boarding the Skyrail Cableway, which offers superb views of the Coral Sea and the World Heritage Rainforest as you traverse the Macalister Range.

The itinerary allows for approximately 2½ hours free time for you to explore Kuranda Village before meeting up with your driver/guide for transfer to Kuranda Railway Station. On route the Kuranda Scenic Railway stops at Barron Falls before descending the mountain passing through 15 tunnels and over the high trestle bridge at Stoney Creek Falls.
